The Technical Manual Parts1 and 2 will be updated to include the new role of Deputy Responsible Person, who will have similar rights to the Responsible Person. This role will be available to business e-services customers as soon as testing of the new technology has been completed successfully.

The Technical Manual Part 2 will also be updated to reflect changes to the despatch of documentation to customers. This will now be delivered electronically wherever possible and not only where an application is completed automatically.
